Online Dementia Self-Management Course

The online dementia self-management course for people in the early stages of dementia and their carers is an interactive, internet-based, course, which runs for 6 weeks, with each weekly session lasting 1.5 hours for groups of up to 10 participants (those living in early stage dementia and their carers). Participants log on at the same time every week via Skype to ‘meet’ with other participants, much like our group courses but just over the internet, and have access to a support site containing videos, useful sites for further information and course.  The course has been developed by Coventry University and Birmingham Memory Assessment and Advisory Service.
