What is CAMHS?

CAMHS is a service that works with children and young people to help them cope when they’re feeling sad, worried or troubled.

 Our service aims:

  • To help children, young people and families, including those with a learning disability and who are experiencing serious emotional and behavioural difficulties.
  • To help these families, children, young people and their carers to find ways to develop to their fullest social and personal potential.

How do people refer in? - Referrals can be made through your GP, Health Visitor, School Nurse and Social Worker.
