Advocacy supports people to say what they want, represents their interests, protects their rights and helps obtain services. SEAP Advocacy is commissioned by Torbay Council to provide The Health Complaints Advocacy Service, which is free, confidential and independent. Face to face meetings held at Healthwatch Torbay every second Tuesday morning of the month. The service will help you to: * access information and services * be involved in decisions * explore choices and options * defend and promote your rights * ensure your voice is heard * speak out about issues that matter to you Our qualified advocates provide help, support and information to enable anyone who has not received the standard of service expected of their NHS treatment, to make a complaint. We can: ~ write letters about your complaint ~ support you through the complaint process ~ accompany you to meetings ~ explore options and choices at every stage of the complaint
