Sing for your Life is a charity that promotes singing as a therapeutic activity. Research shows that singing improves mood and breathing, and decreases anxiety, depression and pain. Singing is an activity that promotes fun, fitness, health, and well-being whilst making new friends and socialising. It is a very informal singalong group. You don't need to have a good voice, just enjoy singing. There is no audition, just come along and have a good time. There is no charge, but if you would like to make a small donation to the charity on the day it would be much appreciated. All are welcome, it is a very inclusive group with no age, race, disability or age barriers. There is a choice from 250 songs.... 1950's, 1960's, 1970's, Community Songs, Musicals, hymns and Xmas carols.... all the old favourites and something for everyone. There is no set plan, the people attending choose what to sing at the time and we encourage moving to the music and percussion instrument playing. So don't be lonely, don't be sad, come and join in the fun. Facilitated by Heather Manktelow
