The Healthy Lifestyles team offer a wide range of free or subsidised healthy lifestyle information, advice and support. We can help people to quit smoking, get more active, eat more healthily, lose weight and improve wellbeing.
Our website provides a tailored holistic assessment of lifestyle behaviours, information, goal-setting, interactive self-help programmes, and signposting or referral to commercial or community-based services appropriate to the requirements of the person using the service.
In addition, our team of specialists; including dietitians, health trainers, physical activity specialists, and experts in quitting smoking; provide personalised, one-to-one support, group sessions, drop-ins and workshops, and the ongoing encouragement and motivation to help people make positive lifestyle changes, and to keep going when others give up.
