T.R.I.P. provides a Drop-In Service for people in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. The Drop-In is run by people in recovery, for people in recovery, providing a safe and friendly environment to meet others in a similar position. Our volunteers and peers can offer a friendly listening ear and will be happy to help you find the support and information you need. Through mutual aid and sharing of information about organisations that can help you, we can support you to maintain your recovery and lead a meaningful and fulfilling life.
We provide opportunities for volunteering in our organisation and within the community. We are always looking for volunteers to help in the following areas: management of the coffee bar, housekeeping, maintenance, IT, gardening, administration and running and supporting activities and groups.
We offer free internet access to assist with jobsearch and creating CVs. If you need help with using computers and would like to learn more, our IT Co-ordinator would be more than happy to help. Health and Safety and First Aid courses are also available (subject to interest).
We run a variety of diversionary activities: a Gardening group, Darts evening on Mondays, Fishing trips, an Arts and Crafts group, to name a few. We are always looking for ideas for new activities... feel free to let us know your suggestions!
For more information, don't hesitate to get in touch! Call us or simply drop in for a coffee - our dedicated Drop In Co-ordinators will be delighted to show you around and see how we can help you achieve your goals.
